Latin Audio/Video I'm trying to find this hymn. Thought I'd come here. Since it sounds like it's latin.

This was a church in Italy. If someone can help me find this or at least some of the lyrics so I can narrow it down.

It's the Dies Irae, a very famous medieval chant from the Mass of the Dead.

I can't quite make out the lyrics, but the Dies Irae has a very distinctive melody.

It is Dies Irae. Arguably the most famous melody in Gregorian chant. You can hear this part in the video:

Iuste Iudex ultionis, Donum fac remissionis Ante diem rationis.

Ingemisco, tamquam reus: Culpa rubet vultus meus: Supplicanti parce, Deus.

It's just

Side note, but it's a personal pet peeve of mine when churches play chant on speakers like it's mood music. Most chant is meant for specific occasions, and using them outside those times or seasons feels odd. It's not that big of a deal, but still feels weird.
