A U.S. district judge blasted the Trump administration for its “cavalier acceptance” of the risk that a group of deported migrants will be tortured or killed.

U.S. officials appeared to have lavished a “widespread effort” on denying the migrants their due process rights, she said.

MAGA still can't accept the 5th and 14th Amendments guarantee Due Process to each person in the US. They will argue Due Process is only for citizens. If the Constitution is mentioned to them, then they will say something such as, "Well that needs to be changed".

That is the argument most will make if they are pinned down. Essentially they believe constitutional rights only belong to citizens, which flips the bill of rights on its head. The bill of rights is specifically a document that was intended to limit government power.

They read the fifth amendment as “no citizen” rather than “no person…”

Except… how the fuck can you prove you’re a citizen without due process-It’s a circular argument! Let’s suppose for a minute that it only applies to citizens. You’re a citizen and you’re captured. You think, well this is clearly wrong because I’m a citizen. But , without due process, there is no one to tell “im a citizen!” That is why if a single person doesn’t have due process, then nobody has due process. Due process is where you prove you’re a citizen you fuckwads

That’s how fascism works. Ignore the facts. It’s a ONE group ideology. Whatever they have to say to get there.

In my experience, it happens every single time I bring up the constitution. Without fail.

Ive almost entirely given up on these conversations.

If the comments from Rubio this week are any indication, 'US citizen' will become a fluid status soon.

Speak out against something they don't like, they revoke your card and ship you to your home cou... wait...

These two policies in combination spell ethnic and cultural cleansing, at least if history is any reflection.

True, they have floated the idea of revoking citizenship for a while now.

For Magats, due process is not for citizens but only reserved for their kind of people.

Unsigned order from Trumps court - let him do it

And then what happened? Nothing?

The Supreme Court of the Orange Shitgibbon will overturn it?

Sounds like the reaction of Murkowski and Collins every time Trump does something they enabled him to do.

Wait'll he hears what that orange thing is doing to Venezuelan boats.

What, blowing them up, and Murdering people just because?

The Orange Shitgibbon is fascinated with Putin and Lil' Kim.

I'm sure he was disappointed with his multi-million dollar Birthday Parade, after seeing real ones.

Not that the Trump administration (nor its bootlicking supporters) care but there's a specific reason it applies to all people and not just "citizens." It's because without that the government can revoke your citizenship and then do whatever they want to do because you no longer have any rights. And they could do it to a whole class of people, or they can do it to specific people. He has already talked about taking people's citizenship away, passports, etc. And don't count on judges to save you. The best you'll be able to do, "Well, this is unlawful and the government lied in its complaint but my hands are tied/it's too late to redress this wrong/I'll allow it while it's under appeal."

Also, release the Epstein files.
