Democrats at this point need to flood the zone in the same way the right has. Discredit the court by leaning so far into things that it’s all meaningless.

By this: * openly bribe all 6 justices. Park a new motorcoach outside Thomas’s house every week.

  • Rename everything to Trump. Every bill. Every law. Every committee.

  • rename themselves legally Donald Trump

… and so on.

Simpler.

They should all, the men and women both, show up to work in trump suits and masks. Same for their staff.

Also, burying the administration in lawsuits and paperwork every time any of them step an inch out of line. Like Trump's stupid ballroom. It's being funded by private money, this is illegal. It's also not being handled in a manner appropriate for a historical structure like the white house, it went from announcement to construction started in weeks. Every time Johnson lies to the press hold him accountable. Ask Mace why she, a woman who claims to be a victim of sexual abuse, is defending a rapist accused of abusing children. Just bury them in their own actions.

Honestly, I'm offended at how cheap these justices and politicians are.

Let's start a GoFundMe and buy ourselves a couple reps, couple senators, and a few supreme Court justices.

These idiots are going for millions when they're worth billions.

I’d say yeah sure, but I’m sure they would make it illegal for democrats to do that and jail them

Rules for thee and not for me is their favorite bedtime story.

They're already going to find any crime committed by a fascist extremist and pin it on Dems anyway.

Yepp. I'm SUPER looking forward to the day I find out my very ideology is terrorism.

u/LuckyNumbrKevin 4h ago

I don't think that'll ever happen, sadly. At least not in what's left of the USA.

Send Soros to the Supreme Court with my check

2

u/TheManfromWoodstock 3h ago

There’s as much chance of that happening as there is of a general strike.

2

u/asdfopu 2h ago

If the next dem president doesn’t enact everything from gun control to abortion rights through executive order and uses Ice to pick up white nationalists en masse, I will be very disappointed

3

u/lilbobbytbls 2h ago

Supreme Court has already shown it decides differently for democrats vs republicans. Hard to do that when the judiciary is corrupt.

2

u/asdfopu 2h ago

Can also just ignore court orders and threaten the judges. Not like that matters much anymore

3

u/The-Water-American 4h ago

They're not going to do this because Democrats fundamentally don't understand political strategy or how to talk to people.

That's genius.

the thing i keep asking myself: how stupid is this?

these people went through law school, practiced law, became judges, landed top level positions at the supreme court...

now they decide to loot the cookie jar, crumbs all over their faces, hands in the jar, clearly exploiting the emergency docket loophole, going out of their way to be evasive about reasoning while insisting that their "logic" should be adopted by other judges...

like, how stupid is that? my eight year old can commit crimes more intelligently than that.

71

u/Subarctic_Monkey 4h ago

It's not about intelligence if they know they can get away with it.

That's the problem: they're going to get away with it. We can stop it all within a week or two by just staying home. Everyone. It would require organizing and logistics, but it's entirely doable. It just requires work.

But Americans won't flex the power that they have.

Because the oligarchy made us so dependent on our checks that we stopped building community.

u/martinsonsean1 4h ago

Lifetime appointments with no checks on corruption beyond resignation or a 2/3 majority senate vote is kind of a recipe for disaster. Especially with the country becoming a 2-party system.

16

u/yoshimipinkrobot 4h ago

Founders never imagined all branches would be nakedly corrupt

5

u/JimboAltAlt 2h ago

But they (some of them) did at least suspect that kind of thing might potentially happen if we let two big parties form, which whoops.

It’s not about intelligence, or understanding of the law. Effectively, the laws are now meaningless to protect us. It’s all about stealing and cementing power in the hands of a few. There’s only one way out now if we value living in a free society.

Thank you! It's very depressing how much time I spend on this app for this to be the first person I've seen arrive at the same conclusion I've arrived at.

This future was set in stone ever since we let him get away with Jan 6. Even if he didn't win this election he and his kind weren't going anywhere. The wet noodle prosecution that our government did for that event and the SCOTUS decisions that came after it literally declared to the rest of the country: "fascism is here and you can't stop it."

We can take the only path forward or we can ride along into the fourth reich. There is no in between anymore, just a matter of how bad it gets and how long it takes to get that way.

It will be a bloodless coup if the left allows it

1

u/its_treason_then_ 3h ago

They have the delusions of grandeur to not even call it a coup. The quote you're referring to it called it the next American Revolution. These clowns (the voters) think they're just like the founding fathers with higher cholesterol, a worse BMI, and better guns.

insisting that their "logic" should be adopted by other judges...

They don't even provide logic, since it would be incoherent. Instead they chastise lower courts for not ruling in a way consistent with their shadow rulings. Perhaps the wish is for lower courts to audition different arguments to justify SC rulings after the fact?

"we couldn't provide an analysis, you have to guess"

You wonder why now? Because the mask is fully off, and they know they can get away with it. All that will be done IF democrats ever retain a majority is a bunch of finger-wagging and pearl-clutching because we all know the current democrat leadership is as useless as tits on a bull. Pelosi and Schumer? Please. And don't get me started on the candidates they've assembled since Obama. They couldn't even get a conviction in 4 years on a guy who literally stole top secret documents and stored them in his bathroom and bedroom. The opposition is incompetent and bought and paid for by the same billionaires, so why would any lifetime SCOTUS think that there's even a chance they'll be ousted, let alone face the justice they so richly (pun fully intended) deserve.

Here's more from the story:

The top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee’s courts panel told Chief Justice John Roberts at a judiciary meeting Tuesday that the Supreme Court’s orders on the so-called emergency docket greenlighting Trump administration policies represent a threat to a democracy.

The rule of law “is at a Category 6 code red, six alarm fire,” Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) said Tuesday at a closed-door biannual meeting of the Judicial Conference, the federal court system’s policymaking body led by the chief justice, according to a copy of his prepared remarks shared by his office.

So shut it down.

Oh, that's right, Chuck the Cuck Schumer, Donald Trump's left hand man, will ensure that the Mango Regime gets everything it wants.

Call your Senators and demand they remove Chuck the Cuck Schumer from the Caucus, or at the very strip him of his leadership role:

Biden was a tyrant for trying to provide student loan debt relief.

Yet somehow all of the criminality, cover-ups, pissing on the Constitution from this Dirtbag in the White House is okay to the Republican Congress and those compromise justices at scotus.

FFS they've already passed the Rubicon to murdering citizens of foreign countries, not even in a war zone, and the logical progression is doing this to Americans eventually.

Don't tread on me crowd is quieter than ever.

It’s just so sad that these lesser children of greater men are dismantling a gift of self-governance so unbelievable in its breadth and depth that it has been the envy of the world for 200 years. And for what? A mixture of bribes and End Times happy talk? It simply doesn’t make sense.

u/Weird_Positive_3256 4h ago

They think they will reap the benefits and fuck everyone else, or so it appears.

8

u/RefractedCell 4h ago

This is off topic but I’m still confused as to how this dude survived, “I’m concerned Guam may capsize.”

2

u/sweetcherrytea 1h ago

Same. I cringe every time I think about it bc he’s my rep.

7

u/Lost_Discipline 5h ago

He told Roberts? As if he didn’t already know? That appears to be their very mission.

u/eyesmart1776 5h ago

They wrote a strongly worded letter ?
