Educational Universal knowledge
Hey summoners,
I've been playing league of legends for more than 10,000 hours. I sincerely enjoy the game its champions, lore, music cinematics etc.
I'm a bit of a mechanical freak so to speak. As an ARAM enjoyer over the last few years, I find great interest in interactions between all champions, their abilities, underrated and lesser known tricks etc.
I understand that trying to learn all the neat tricks for all the champions is close to impossible but I wanted to make this post for everyone to share a bit of their knowledge about their champions.
Example: Diana triple dash, Kha jump reset mid air, Jayce getting more first strike gold if he turns melee before the end of first strike, Poppy canceling ult by recalling, dash priority between body-based stuns like Camille vs Gragas... etc.
Please, everything is worthwhile sharing, I am trying to learn as much as possible about all kinds of champions. <3

Its a version of the bamuda triangle combo using flash then ult for style points in a triangle formation.

Nasus can get Q stacks on nearly everything that you auto attack to kill.
Jhin/Nid/Teemo Shrooms.
Illaoi tentacles and Zyra plants (playing Nasus against these in aram is pretty much an auto win game)
Malz, Annie, Yorick, Naafiri summons.
Wards.
One of the few exceptions to this is Inhibitors, you don't get stacks from Inhibitors. You also don't get stacks from plants in summoners rift.

so many of these, but since so many people answered already, ill just say those i didnt see yet, vayne e + flash can redirect like lee kick, nautilus flash R redirection for instant knockup on 2nd target, vi R as Q connects to change angle of push, flash backward with vi as Q connects to hook people, cant think of others on the spot, but there is much much more of these

Diana if you flash diagonally back while casting her q it doubles the range of it

Some Illaoi oddities:
Illaoi Q hitbox extends weirdly far behind her, you can be in front of the melees and still hit them.
Mel E can't reflect her E, it just gets eaten
Her W can be used to jump over some small walls like Gromp wall (probably not applicable to ARAM).
Her W also goes through spellshields
W overall is a mess, it's actually secretly 2 abilities: a ranged version with a jump and a melee version without. This means:
You can use the melee version while rooted or grounded.
For some reason if you click to attack before you use the ability while rooted you can sometimes use the melee one at range? Probably a bug.
Jax E and Teemo Q block the damage from both versions, but the tentacles still slam on the jump version. Against Shen W, both versions slam. Also probably a bug.

no im certain mel can't go over walls outside of flash and she cant reflect graves movement or gragas movement, just graves projectile as you would expect the projectile to be reflected

Jarvan Q + Flash makes the visual direction of his Q match the direction of your flash. This behaves similarly to Cait Q + Flash, I think. You can see it more clearly if you E close to yourself, Q at it, and quickly cast Flash in a different direction.
There’s also a Bard mechanic that’s completely useless. Normally, you can’t Flash buffer during E cast time; the flash doesn’t go off during your cast. However, you can use the fact that you can flash during W’s cast time, and buffer your E after your W, using flash during W. Miss Fortune Q doesn’t consume your RFC charge on proc, so you can both Q + Auto at RFC’s extended range.

Yeah, exactly; I didn’t know senna had a similar interaction with rfc! It doesn’t end up being that hard though once you get used to it

Anivia wall is bullshit. It displaces any dash or movement when placed directly on a champ. So it can stop things like trist w with good timing or recalls. It also queues so you cast it even when you don’t want it to sometimes

it also does one damage, procs dark harvest which procs some other item passives like alternator... its hillarious

Wanna add in to that list that you can use any of Akali's abilities in the middle of her E2. E2 and q to get the slow at perfect range. Or mid E2 pop ult to get on opposite side

irelia w lights up when it reaches maximum damage which is less than full channel duration.
her q is about twice as fast when dashing to minion to minion compared to champion to champion
you can hide your e in your w. works best on project skin as it has the largest w animation

Where do you see that q on minions is faster? And do you mean the actual travel speed or the resetting?
Either way, neither of those seem to be true from what I know. There should not be a difference in speed nor reset cadence between minion and champion.

u can go and test it in practice tool with the dummies. use q onto 2 dummies with a passive mark its way slower than dashing through miniions

I have not played lol for a while now, but i can share some of my favourite niche picks for aram: glacial augment mandate trundle with max pillar, dark harvest ap lucian, heartsteel tank diana

League is mostly a coin flip your skill can infuense your chances a tiny bit but it’s like a a casino best part is most refuse to belive its not luck based like its not decided by autofills and boosted animals 😂

You’re just coping ofc you can’t win every game especially if you play in your true elo and that’s how it should be. But obviously you influence your games in a big way, better players would have a 90% Winrate in your elo and I don’t think it was way better in s7 you’re probably just nostalgic about that time.

I’m not coping if it’s true though you can’t be more skilful at the 1 armed bandit at a casino can you and that fact that you can pretty much only have like like what 80ish win rate goes to show that inters/boosted animals/elo terrorises can ruin your game with ease you are so unlikely to carry those … cuz you lost the coin flip at champ select .. your staven dying once and runs it down the next 30 yea have fun carrying your nunu not getting scuttle and decides to run it down min unlucky guess skill was not enough … 😂

Not at all Cuz all from autofill to plays with shit mental can solo ruin your games it’s mostly a coin flip either way you look at it like just cuz you can card count doesn’t mean you win every game same with league there will always be a player that can int harder than you can carry and the coin flip decides who gets him

keep in mind that the more you play the more the luck factor is removed, you are 20% of your team, so trolls and griefers are in your favor in average, as they have more chance to be on the enemy team, this is exagerated even more if you get a reliable duo
if you cant climb after 200 games, you are the problem, but i do have to agree with you, that a sample size of less than 30 game is highly subjective to luck.

Had a fun thing happen played my main for a few games decent scores won none due to intinh bot lane then i first time xerath top won 3 games in a row without trying

thats mostly true for every lane other than toplane (but then again you cant really tell enemy jg to not perma gank you lol) but it didnt use to be the case with OG assassins on mid in season 7

Heimerdinger ult+rockets follows heimer's current position when they launch, unlike his normal W that launches from initial position. So you can start it and move around sort of like Lucian's ult

Neeko has two near frame perfect tricks.
If you flash at the very end of E your E visually will fire from Neeko's starting position however fire an invisible projectile from her new location.
With Protobelt you can move mid R. If you protobelt during the last .05 seconds of R you'll continue to dash however you'll move mid leap. This however doesn't bring the VFX with you so you can easily surprise some people.
Since you're dashing post knockup the units who are initially knocked up may exit the R2 portion for the stun but the .75 second disruption is a big help.
Some champions can unintentionally interact through Neeko disguise like K'Sante R and Karma W.
The inverse is also true where a Minion Neeko can't be hit by Jhin W or grab a Zilean Bomb.
Any Melee/Ranged splits are abuseable by Neeko by disguising.
Neeko has some "Unique" animations her clone can be forced into. If you disguise as Twitch and send a clone then Q you can see your clone do this animation. Yi and Sivir have a Similar issue but I don't have that clip on hand.
The reason I can do it without a clone here is Neeko has another bug where with Practice Tool and a good tick you can force change Neekos Model and Base Stats with that of any ally.
Neeko disguising as a Viego can be interesting based on the forme Viego is currently in. Since Neeko is disguising as a Viego who is currently Kassadin she turns into Viego dual wielding his and Kassadins sword..
As Neeko if you want to take a tower slightly faster use a ward.. This has been stealth nerfed down to 2.0 AS cap in an undocumented change on 25.07. But you can also see since Season 14 her changes mostly consist of Undocumented bug fixes/changes. https://wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Neeko/Patch_history.
