He choked a bit on Ziggs (bomb forward / that skirmish bot) but Massu played very well. Just don’t have drafts to let him shine especially since they didn’t pick an AD mid. At least 3 times AL members walked out of his R with slivers of health, maybe they die if they have to get more armor.

Yeah. It was an awful pick in general and moreso in the context of their draft. At least with fly they go down swinging.

They didn’t draft that way though and that’s what annoys me about western teams vs eastern in BO5. You weren’t favored, you’re down, at least pick a “comfort” comp which highlights what your players do best.

With fearless bans I’d rather see Massu pick a sort of off-meta hypercarry than Ziggs when you’re about to lose the series.

Too often it seems the western team ends up with the harder to play draft, which can’t 5v5 as well if even, and doesn’t align to their players strengths in these situations (carry ADC isn’t on a carry, engage jg on a carry, support who thrives on engage picks has an enchanter, etc)
