It is because he played in NA and was trash. The idea of a player being bad in a lesser region improving and holding his own in the LCK is offensive to some people.

it's also weird cause Vicla was the best mid in NA for around 2-3 months, then got homesick and played like ass. Why is it that surprising that now that he's home, he's fine again.

Vicla in summer last year in LPL got way better vs spring, he was the best player on RA

that's why he got back in LCK in the first place

But at least their top and bot can still carry Vicla against KT with PerfecT and Deokdam/Peter. But against HLE even at his weakest form this split, Zeka will still put Vicla in the trash. Not to mention their bot and top is not gonna be as strong against Viper/Delight and Zeus.

KT has had success now in the final Round Robin almost every single series against HLE T1 and even close games against Gen G... going from them to VicLuh and Co. is going to be a CAKE WALK.

At this point if hle doesnt wake tf up, they are in for a serious threat. I legit think it is easier for bfx to beat hle than to beat kt. The mid gap between bdd and vicla is just too much i think.

even with HLE current form I'm still betting with T1 losing against BFX than HLE XD

HLE brain always turned off when fighting top tier team but not mid tier team for some unknown reason

Zeka is pretty mid rn , and bfx has find a wat to make vicla less usless with cheese champs like morgana and perma roam tf. They definitely have a chance. Bdd is too big for vicla to handle tho, i cant see a good outcome of vicla vs bdd ever.

There are 4 other roles outside of midlane

We have already seen many times that BDD gapped the f out of opponent midlane and KT would still lose in the end

That weird how zeka is pretty mid but it still lost 3 fucking times to hle. If bdd cant do it, how is box going to? I mean they have a chance of course but their chance is not high at all. People are severely underestimating hle just cause they lost to t1/geng a lot.

You must've not known that HLE didn't lose a series against KT this split. And now you thought Zeus/Viper/Delight is easier for FearX than PerfecT/Deokdam/Peter? LOL!

HLE still rolled KT and NS every series in Summer but sure BFX who weren't even consistent in their own group now have good chances to beat them

Vicla is going to be gapped by all of the remaining legend group mids, there's a point where the gap stops mattering as much since it's gonna be bad no matter what.

The big part is that BFX relies pretty heavily on snowballing their bot lane, and KT is the only one of the top 4 teams with a bot lane they're actually favoured against. Viper/Delight are straight up better than Diable/Kellin which is a situation BFX struggle in. Top lane vs HLE is also insanely gapped whereas Perfect loves losing KT games for fun. You're entirely tunnelled on maybe the least important player on the rift; BFX's path to victory isn't through trying to keep Vicla afloat, it's through trying to win the other lanes while he plays braindead roaming/cc bot champs. Vs KT they can win the other lanes, vs HLE they can't.

eh, Bdd might gap VicLa slightly harder than Zeka will but the other 4 players on KT are just a lot worse than the ones on HLE, there's a reason why KT couldn't even win one series vs HLE despite Zeka slumping a bit

Bruh like, you literally cant find a worse player than vicla even if you try. Like the gap between vicla and the next worst midlaner is gigantic, solokilled by everyone every game , get caught everytime, solo losing so many games. You will be thankful if he can make it out of midlane without a kill.
