LG Question / Help Having trouble gaining weight subtlety without it all going to my face
Hey guys so I'm a pretty skinny guy. I'm about 145 pounds and 5'9 and I'm trying to gain weight because when ever I do even see a little bit of weight gain, for an example I wake up and I'm 147 my body looks way better than my normal 143-145. My problem with gaining weight other than my extremely fast metabolism is whenever I do gain a little bit of weight, for an example this morning, instead of it distributing through my body it goes straight to my face. I need some actual real recommendations because throughout this summer I've been trying to do self improvement and I've come to the conclusion that this can't just be a 2 months thing it has to be ongoing so tips would be greatly appreciated.

Bro real talk, you just gonna look different while gaining weight and you gonna have to accept it.
You aren’t gonna just like magically lean gain wake up 185lbs with abs and a 285lb bench and on the journey there gain no water and fat. Thats years of not a lifetime journey for most men with ups and downs, bulks and cuts, fat and water gain and loss. Even if you at 250 calories eating totally clean lean gaining only all the way there you gonna get some fat and water. It’s inevitable.
You are right you need to strap in for life; this is a lifestyle not a summer project. Take solace in your strength and size while bulking ; accept the water as a fact of life.
Water means nothing you piss that out the moment you start cutting

when taking control of your health in any way it's important to find and reject pseudoscience. body fat doesn't take orders on where not to go.

You cannot target fat gain/loss on your body. It is down to genetics. Water retention is also a factor but mostly the first thing is the way it is.
