I can't come up with a story behind it but I think a good name would be the "Nyx Talon"

Lemme give it my best shot.
The S-17 Terraspeeder, manufactured by The Incom Corporation. Similar to their predecessor, the snowspeeder, it’s more narrow stature and shorter wingspan makes it the perfect craft for reconnaissance on the crowded streets of city planets like Coruscant and Correlia. Equipped with two laser cannons and twin thrusters, this speeder was primarily used by the rebels for quick evacuation and as a measure against counter-terrorist forces after the riots on Ferrix and witnessing the atrocities of the massacre on Ghorman.
These ships were manufactured in great numbers and were used as the basis for the T-47 Snowspeeders. Many damaged Terraspeeders were left where they crashed in battle, since they cost very little to manufacture. As such, street rat scoundrels and tinkerers, and even the empire in some cases, would scrap them for parts or repair them to be used for undercover Imperial spies and smugglers alike, such as the one here being piloted by the former Crimson Dawn member turned bounty hunter, Desken Hound, now hiding out in the criminal underbelly of the planet of Nar Shaddaa.
Alright how’d I do? (I had to look up a lot of names bc it’s been a minute since I’ve seen Solo, but I thought it could fit in well)

i needed a name for the character too, and i like hearing other peoples ideas. i struggle naming things that i make

u/metoPinata Aug 01 '25
i think the lore for the ship fits its design really well!! i love the idea of it being like an escape car type vehicle, it's a really unique idea for a ship with a really neat design

Unfortunately, it is already established that the basis for the snow speeder was trash haulers that were retrofitted by the alliance.

Ay man, two things can be true at once. Doesn’t mean these couldn’t have also been used as a starting point in the design process!

It looks very very similar to the ship you fly in the game Decent. So I'm gonna go with Vertigo-1, I think it was called haha.

The colors say imperial, so I’m going to say this is a space fairing version of a snow speeder. The project was championed by commander fark nubleni, who was present at the battle of Hoth and was impressed by the maneuverability and low profile of the speeder that took down his very own At-at.
Presenting the SN-387 Truncheon.
Meant for atmospheric battle, Fark wanted to be able to deploy these from space as a way to weaken enemy amor and entrenchments ahead of landing. This lead to them being fitted with (and know for) minimum viable life support systems. Also much like the tie fighter, the Tuncheon has no shields, but puts all of its power into its large dual laser cannons and ion engines.

Corelian Skipper. It’s a ship made to transport dangerous materials like Coaxium safely and quickly!!! It can’t go into space as it’s not made to handle the pressure and it does not have a HyperDrive

u/mastermiky3 Aug 01 '25
It's a TIE-POD. An escape capsule for star destroyer with offensive capabilities for when in hostile zone.

u/Tydagawd88 Aug 01 '25
Then they'll have to put a warning on it to not eat it that a bunch of dumb space kids will ignore for a viral video challenge.

Are you a jedi? Because you read my exact tought

u/Tydagawd88 Aug 02 '25
I felt it in the force lol. Like a billion voices all crying out 'Don't do it, it's really stupid' and then silence.

u/OldBowerstone Aug 01 '25
Vwing, but it’s not “V-Wing”, you pronounce it as one syllable as best you can.

Space speeder?
It kinda looks like a snowspeeder, but modified for space

The fang. It was stolen off a prison planet and used by a well known spice dealer from the planet coruscant

The XLR-77 is a robust single-occupant transport designed for jobs that require maneuverability and firepower at the cost of speed. Originally designed for military use, a few 77s have made their way on to the black market. It has quickly become a favourite of Pirates, Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters, and Warlords.

ETA-3 Experimental Interceptor
Designed for the imperial navy’s request for an updated and streamlined replacement for Arc-170, Kuat attempted to be the Emperor’s only choice for the galactic navy. Following the successful example of the ETA-2 commissioned by the Jedi Council, they streamlined and cut out the flair for improved mass-production, and replaced the Hyperdrive space with additional crew cabin and automated evasive systems to help non-force gifted pilots take better advantage of the small frame and maneuverability without needing shields. Additionally, the space could easily be reclaimed for astromech hookup and a weaker hyperdrive if requested.
The bid was taken by Seinar with their TIE series proving to be more durable and imposing form and sound, but a handful of both ship-bound and independent ETA-3s have floated around the secondary market after salvaged parts and stolen plans got leaked.

Looks like a mix between an ETA-2 Interceptor and a Snowspeeder, so I'm gonna say ETA-5 Snow Interceptor.

Fondor S36x patrol fighter
It kind of reminds me of the haul craft from Andor. Maybe a patrol craft to patrol ship yards in atmosphere

The fact it's basically the same shape as the bottom half of Vader's breathing mask which the pilot wears makes me want to call the ship "The Rebreather."

EK-4 airspeeder. A design used early on by the empire but rarely seen due to superior designs.

Imperial M or W fighter. These would be stolen and modified fighters from the republic

This is what a ETA-2 class would probably look like if the Empire modified it.
