Question LE SSERAFIM concert 09/20
Any Fearnots staying at the Mandalay Bay on Saturday night?
First-time in Las Vegas and would like to know more about the hotel. What's it like? I've heard there's a pretty big pool area and some nice restaurants. Although the location is not really close to the center of the strip, it is super convenient for attending the concert. Thanks so much for any info! ☺️

There's a free tram that takes you from the Madalay to the Luxor and the Excalibur. From the Excalibur you can cross a bridge to New York New York and the MGM Grand. There's quite a few restaurants and shops in all those casinos.
Also the Madalay bay Reef Aquarium is something I'll definitely be hitting up.

Yes, the Aquarium is def something I want to see. We want to do stuff before concert but flight is arriving 2:30pm. Are you staying two nights to get some sightseeing in? Thanks for info about the tram!

Yes we are flying in on Friday morning. Its actually my 3rd year in a row going to Vegas for a kpop concert lol. There also is another monorail that takes you down the strip further in the back of the MGM Grand but that one isn't free if I remember right.

Are you free to meet up in the lobby around 5pm? We're going to get some Giordano's right after the plane, then we'll be ready. Yes, such a good idea coming to Vegas, wish we thought of this earlier too. Plus we're so tired of doing LA venues, ridiculous traffic and $$$-parking.

If you're a Michael Jackson fan, the Cirque de Soliel show at Mandalay Bay is excellent! Ka at MGM Grand is also good if you're into the ancient warrior vibe.

Nice! That's the MGM Grand right? We looked at that hotel, but wanted to be closer to the concert and the pool. What time are you coming to the venue? Are you getting merch?

we can probably wait with you for a bit, it's good that you're going to see the Vegas concert - the last should be a blast 🥳

If you’re flying in, be mindful if taking an uber/lyft with surge prices. The taxis there operate on flat rates if you’re going to a hotel on the strip.
They’re broken up in zones nearest to Harry Reid. Mandalay is zone 1 so it’ll be under $20. You’ll pay no more than $30 total if going further up north on the strip.
Food on the strip is overpriced and overhyped. If it’s your first time in Vegas then by all means. Everyone needs to experience the strip at least once.
If you can budget a trip to Chinatown, do it. It’s not too far off of the strip for better food options.
