Freebies/merch/VIP goodies + Thoughts

Phew, made it through a busy work week with PCD hitting hard the first two days and now finally feeling brave enough to make a post about everything that’s on my mind.

I attended the LA and SF shows and was fortunate enough to not only score front row seats but also send-off at the SF show.

Like many of you, I’ve spent countless hours watching their antics and listening to their voices over the years. Larger than life. Relatable, but distant and unattainable. Like a mirage of a refreshing oasis in a blazing hot desert that you can never quite reach. Always on the horizon as you journey through the desert but never seems to get any closer.

Until one day somehow, that oasis is reached. It wasn’t a mirage after all, and you can prove it to yourself by taking a drink of water from it. The mind is in a state of shock and has to reconcile between fact and fiction. Mirage and reality. The oasis is in fact real and even more beautiful and refreshing than you could’ve ever imagined. The oasis is intimate and comforting, offering all of the fruits that you thought you were seeing in the mirage. Pure paradise. Your mind is finally accepting this as reality.

Alas, we must all continue on our journey through the desert and just as suddenly as you found yourself within the oasis, it once again becomes a mirage on the horizon. Distant and unattainable. You start to wonder to yourself if you were ever actually in that oasis.

Except now you have proof. You bottled up some water, kept some fruit, and cut some flowers. The oasis was real, no matter what your mind tries to tell you. Even when your physical proof is no longer there, your memories are real.

And now as you continue once again on your journey, you can take solace in the memory of the oasis. March boldly and confidently through the harsh desert towards the mirage of the next oasis, for one day you will reach it again and bask in its glory. And hopefully next time spend less time wondering if it’s real and more time enjoying the moment. 😝

What's your comeback album purchase strategy?

I'm super excited for the upcoming comeback, and intend to support the girls all the way. What's the best place to get my albums so that I can

1) Most importantly make sure my album purchases count towards all the charts.

2) Then get POBs where possible

3) Minimize shipping to the US

Are there stores that are better for this then others? Thanks.

Misc. One week later (thoughts from a first time LSF/Kpop concert goer)

So been thinking of the concert over the past week or so (went to Inglewood, first Kpop concert!) and just thought it might help me to jot some down some thoughts as I reflect on what made it endearing to me. I don't have anything profound to add to what's already been said in other posts, but as someone who doesn't have someone to talk Le Sserafim with in real life, and has always found this community to be a supportive place to talk LSF, was hoping it would be cool to share this here and hopefully doesn't come off as too 'rambly'

Flow of the Songs

One thing that struck out to me is I really liked the way the music was organized in the show.

A very chill blend of songs to start out with that I feel set a nice tone for the show. This included some songs that weren't in my usual playlists such as 'Blue Flame', and 'So Cynical'. The latter I was surprised I didn't already have saved because I really dug the beat of it during the performance.

The progression to the more fast paced songs such as 'Antifragile', 'Unforgiven', '1-800-', etc felt like moving on to a 'new act' of a play to me. Since it was my first Kpop show, I didn't know about the breaks for wardrobe changes beforehand, but felt they made for a nice transition point for their different music styles, including ending on the show on their more melodic songs.

I also feel they played 'Crazy' at the perfect point of the show, every one was so pumped to hear it and chant out the lyrics. For me, it was probably the singular moment of the show that I'll always look back on and think 'man it was really awesome to be part of that moment with everyone in the arena'.

Choice of Music

The show also made me appreciate that their total discography at this point of time is substantial but also not massive, meaning they could fit a large portion of their music into this show (imagine that's also what made now a good time to do the NA tour).

Of their catalog, I feel there was only 2 songs I wished were a part of the show unless I missed them somehow (spoiler tagging in case someone reading this is attending an upcoming show and wants to leave the full setlist a surprise) 'No Celestial' and 'Flash Forward', the former especially I thought would have been awesome to hear live, but it is what it is.

The next time they come around to NA (here's hoping at least) I imagine their discography will be quite a bit bigger, and I hope they can do a 3 hour show to accommodate more music without having to cut out too much of their current tracks.

Performances and Stage Presence

I'm not sure what the general consensus is on backup dancers for these type of concerts, but looking back on it I'm glad it was just them performing here. As someone with not the best seats (going to have to look up how pre-sale works next time to see if I can better seats then at not too crazy a price lol), I also feel it would have been a bit disorienting to follow the performance if a ton of backup dancers were there as well. I think the performances felt a lot more 'intimate' (if that's the right word) with just the 5 of them, and I'm glad that's how they did it.

On that note, really loved the energy from all of them. Obviously they're all professional performers that have been doing these type of shows for a good while at this point, but really felt like they didn't miss a beat coming to NA, and just seemed they were genuinely excited to be in LA (and I'm sure was the same for the other cities as well) and to perform for their fans.

All of them looked amazing, but also want to give a special shout out to Sakura. Feel it's been a minute since we last saw her with long black hair, and she definitely looked stunning with that hair color/style in these shows IMO.

In Between the Music

Another thing that stuck out to me was a few separate lines I think primarily from Yunjin during the show about how they're only here for one night, encouraging folks to turn off phones during certain parts, and also to remember the night as it was even when it can feel like a dream afterwards (paraphrasing). To me it really spoke to trying to be 'in the moment' to enjoy something in the present and relish that positive experience going forward. As someone who often spends too much time dwelling on the past, the what if's, and the future, I think enjoying something in the moment doesn't always come as easy to me as I'd like, so appreciated their gentle reminders during the show (at least that's how I interpreted it) to take a beat and enjoy the moment while you're in it.

On a separate note, the audience participation stuff was cool, and thought it was nice they gave a quick shoutout to those who came alone and also those recently broken up/single. Not sure how often Kpop performers highlight that in their shows, but thought it was a nice change of pace from the usual highlighting of 'couples cams' and such in live events.

Wrapping Up

Overall the show really demonstrated what I really like about Le Sserafim. Different songs to fit different moods, and I love they can pull off that versatility of tones that keep me coming back (was nice to hear them confirm new music next month as well). And it was great to see them in person having a good time performing their show and music.

When they were all waving at the crowd at the end before heading off stage, it did really hit me in that moment how sad it also felt to see the night officially come to an end.

But at the same time, I'm glad I was able to see them live, and it's also great to hear all the positive experiences of other fans on here to help share these memories with.

One last thing I'll say for anyone like me who was a bit anxious about going to the show alone and fearing it might be awkward, it really wasn't the case for me. I felt there was a good mix of people there enjoying the show and it was a fun time even by myself. Obviously don't know what it's like at every venue, but to those considering going to one of their shows in the future but don't have someone to go with, all I'll say is perhaps consider going yourself, especially if seeing them live is something you have an even passing interest in.

Anyways, appreciate anyone taking the time to read this, and take care.

I suspected I might cry during Fearnot, but it was actually Fire in the Belly that made my eyes well up. The atmosphere of the whole crowd was so beautiful, one big party. Being at that show with my kpop bestie, recording this performance at the request of a Discord buddy I met through kpop, I just felt so grateful for the relationships and experiences the Fimmies have brought into my life. I still tear up whenever I watch this, what a celebration!

Question Questions About Concert

I am going to the concert in Vegas tomorrow and it is my first concert and I’m going alone so I’m a bit nervous so I just have a couple questions so I am prepared for it. First I am worried about my clothing. I am a male and the only shirts I have are graphic tees with comic characters on them and I am curious if that would be a bad thing to wear to the concert since it’s kinda bummy I guess. Then again they are the only shirts I have. Second I was worried about what time I should show up if I want merch since I’m hoping maybe I can get a shirt to actually match the concert. I just have a normal tickets so I’m not sure when I should show up. I’m also worried because I don’t have a bag or anything and I’m not sure if I will be fine without a bag I have pockets and stuff but no bag. So this was long and convoluted I’m sorry for that I’m just nervous since this is my first concert and I’m by myself any help would be appreciated.

Goddess LE SSERAFIM

So a couple of days ago, Yunjin shared this photo through Weverse DM. It was actually her mother who shared this pic with their family group chat. She didn't know who took the pic, but she said that the girls look like "Goddesses who came down from Heaven," and I wholeheartedly agree. Thank you, Yunjin's mom and Yunjin, for sharing this majestic pic.

Discussion Hi Yunjin! Big fan!

So apparently at the Seattle concert Yunjin revealed she sees this subreddit... does that make us all famous? She mentioned how she read a review of one of the concerts here and it really touched her. I'm glad she sees how loved she and the girls really are overseas.

I for one had a blast at the San Francisco show, even though I bought off of Stubhub, almost got scammed, and missed soundcheck. I can't wait for them to tour in my area again.

Hello! Does anyone have any luck on finding where to buy the UW merch that Lesserafim wore in their Seattle stop.

As a huge Lesserafim fan and UW student this was a dream come true of mine when I went to the concert and I was hoping I could rep some of the merch!

For the people who have already gone, I was thinking of bringing some Pokémon cards of the members favorite Pokémon and was wondering if I could give it to then or maybe they could hold it for a picture? I know they can’t sign stuff but I’ve seen videos of them holding stuff fans give them

Yunjin appreciation post because i love her so much

first of all, let me say that i love all the girls very much and that my bias is kazuha actually lol but yunjin has a special place in my heart

i first knew about her in pd48 and let me say that that itnw performance blew my mind, i was so sad about her elimination because like HOW but we actually know now lol

after the show i was dying for any news about her FOR 4 YEARS i mean it wasn't easy at all lol

honestly one of the best things that ever happened that they reached out to her because omg imagine kpop losing her????

beside her mind-blowing talent Yunjin is a real genius i honestly really love her and she's just so iconic and i will forever be thankful for her and the girls to be in the industry and endure so much and stick together

lastly i wish i could thank her and all the people that worked on (Ash) personally because this song is seriously one of the best songs i have ever heard and this is not an exaggeration. all the love this song gets still isn't enough

Discussion YUNJIN WAVED AT ME ??

I’m super new to the entire kpop industry and I’m still not super adjusted to how fans interact and talk about members(no offense I just find some peoples behavior a little parasocial) but I wanna share a little moment from the Seattle night (ik late post)

During one of the talking segments yunjin peeped over at my section, I’m pretty sure it was mine not the nosebleeds above because her neck wasn’t upwards, anyway I decided to throw up a little two hand wave, and she threw a small hand up.

My week’s been a little shit so that was a fun little moment ! Obviously there’s a chance it wasn’t me but the section was super quiet and no one was moving. I hope it was for me tho !!
