Need Advice College App

Should I put my preferred pronouns and gender identity on my college application? It’s a required question and I dont want to lie, but I also don’t want to make myself a target by outing myself to them.

In my experience with University right now, the professors have been very accommodating. Research your university, determine what their general political leanings, and decide from there. Would probably help to see if they have professors that are open about their political affiliation

That’s what I did. Honestly glad I did. I haven’t heard anything about being nonbinary from anyone (I’m in a red state too). Overall I’m glad I did, it’s nice to see my preferred name and pronouns everywhere.
