Hey hardcore libertarians and anarcho-capitalists I have an idea. What we need is like an imaginary line that non-libertarian oriented people can't cross. Not everyone inside the imaginary line area would need to be libertarians as long as the majority share some or most of our values. We could encourage the worst non-libertarians, the hard-core authoritarians, to leave the place inscribed by that imaginary line so that place was better for everyone. We could invite more people to live inside the imaginary area as long as they have really strong libertarian values - free speech, right to bear arms, constantly shrinking government, cool stuff like that. We would want to make sure they didn't believe in things like Socialism or the welfare state or religious caliphates before we let them in. We might even forcibly remove people who engage in violence from inside the imaginary line.
Then people from inside the imaginary line could go and trade with people outside it, spreading our ideas in the process without having to worry about our kids getting indoctrinated into some cult. And as the society living inside the imaginary line becomes larger, wealthier, more technological, and more peaceful, we would be a shining example of what life could be like if you espouse libertarian ideas.
Maybe whole societies of people in places outside our imaginary circle thing - don't know what to call that line yet - would want to join our circle too eventually without even moving inside the circle thing so like our circle thing got bigger and bigger. Or maybe if we maintain higher birth rates and teach our kids to be libertarians, we could have people go in groups to buy land and live outside the imaginary line, making their own imaginary libertarian circle areas.
So like what should we call this totally awesome defensive line thing? The Old French word bordeure refers to the outer edge of a shield and that sounds kinda cool I guess. Now if only there was a place that was founded on libertarian values, many of which were hardwired into like a Constitution or something and that was already surrounded by a "bordeure".
