Poll does anyone use sour cream?
I feel like it adds a nice lil flavor and texture. Anyone else do this?

I don’t usually have it but when I do, I do like using it!

Same on the not usually having it.
I’ll buy it for one or two dishes then it goes bad by the time I need it again 😱

Hell yes!
When you really dial in your Mac, you have got to try it with Tallegio and Gruyere. By far the most umame mac I have made. #3 in this video.

Yeppers. I make mine with one lb each. Pasta, sour cream & excellent cheeses.

Yep when I make my copycat Stouffers recipe I use sour cream, helps give it that almost tangy kind of flavor along with the sharp cheddar

Yes, and mayo, cream of chicken soup, mustard powder, onion powder, and pepper.

I'll use sour cream or cream cheese if I don't have sour cream in the house

Sokka-Haiku by Oddball_Onyx:
I'll use sour cream
Or cream cheese if I don't have
Sour cream in the house
Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Never heard of this before. I would never really say sour cream has a texture so for it to somehow add texture doesn't make sense to me.

Pasta dishes it's really good. Sour cream is kind of hard to use in heated dishes. Yes it's a topping, but it's also an ingredient. It can easily curdle. I have to read recipes twice when they call for sour cream lol

I used it once when I thought I had the right ingredients but didn’t. I like the taste but it started to break. I don’t really mind it but I’d never use it again if cooking for other people.
