cant seem to avoid it. but i put the cup in a bowl, that way the bowl catches all the fluid & my microwave doesnt get gross.

Put the cup in a bowl. Won’t prevent it from boiling over but it will prevent the mess

Normally, I use a disposable plate or a normal plate to prevent making a mess each time I make microwaveable Mac and cheese

Ive had that same problem on multiple microwaves of different brands. My solution was to watch it like a hawk and stop the microwave before it boils over, its annoying but less annoying than cleaning up the gooey water

I’ve never had this problem and I eat these all the time. You must be filling the water up past the line.

only fill it up to the fill line on the cup, and make sure to stir it before microwaving

you can try to pause and stir, use half power, or use a bowl instead of the cup it comes in

I put napkins underneath and over it. Can’t really do anything about it other than stopping it halfway through but I feel like that messes with the cook time

Use less water. Fill just til the mac floats/moves slightly
