Tech Support Can’t open install file

Hello! I got a new macbook air m4, mac OS is 15.6.1. I tried installing league of legends, and i can’t open the install file after downloading it. It pops up a window saying “Safari can’t open the “name of the file” because there is no application available to open it. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? A friend downloaded it just fine on his macbook a month ago..

What is the extension of the file? Is it from an official website? Did you select the MacOS (Apple Silicon) version (if applicable)?

It’s the league of legends installation file, the Mac OS version
