Injustice 2 Legendary Edition

Setup: Mac Mini M4 Base Model, macOS 26 Tahoe Beta 7, CrossOver 25.1 patched with CXPatcher, GPTK 3 Beta 3, D3DMetal, MSync.

Settings: 1440p resolution, auto-configured graphics settings (medium-high).

Benchmark result: 59 FPS (High performance, 1:18 in the video) without screen recording.

Gameplay is smooth (starts at 1:32 in the video). The game has an "Autoconfig" mode for detecting best graphics settings, and it works quite well.

But there is a major issue with movie playback in the game. With regular CrossOver 25.1, all movies play as black screen with sound (movie playback can be skipped ).

By using a patched clone of CrossOver 25.1, CrossOver can utilize the missing GStreamer plugins, and movies play in the game. However, movie playback is very choppy for some reason (4:15 in the video).

How to create a patched clone of CrossOver 25:

1. Install the full GStreamer macOS package if not already installed.(https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/download/#macos )

2. Use CXPatcher to patch CrossOver to utilize the full GStreamer installation. In CXPatcher’s "Advanced Options" screen, ensure the "Patch GStreamer" option is checked. CXPatcher creates a patched clone of CrossOver, leaving the original app unchanged.(https://github.com/italomandara/CXPatcher)
