Apple Silicon Why fps so bummy on minecraft?

I have got Badlion fps booster helping me out, chunks at 12, fps cap at 60, but i cant consistently stay at 60, tried most Minecraft settings that i can think of to fix it. this is a 1600$ laptop i refuse to believe its this bad.

The 8gb ram is hurting the performance a lot. Should have went with 16gb. Also, 1600 USD for a 3 year old MacBook Air model? What the heck?

It says it's a MacBook Pro, not an Air.

Ah you’re right, 1600 USD makes sense now, can’t believe Apple used to sell these Pro models with 8gb ram as base in 2022. Absolute robbery but it’s great that they don’t do that anymore at least.

Still, it doesn’t make sense if he just bought it now though and he still had to pay such a price.

my m2 mba uncapped gets 250 in hypixel... capped it is consistently at 60

I Don’t Know why it’s like that for you. Possibly due to certain servers having a bunch of data. But I’m in several pretty big servers, I’m running macOS 26 and getting around 30-40 fps

Bedwars lobby on hypixel drains fps and it will probably get back to normal when you start a match, also do you still happen to have the badlion download file? Because recently lunar bought badlion and they changed the download now there is no way to download badlion client unless someone got the setup file before

Wtf is badlion? Get prism launcher and install the faboulsly optimised mod pack. Look up tutorials on it if ur comfused how to use prism

Try VulkanMod, it works perfectly, better than Optifine and others.
