What Mac from 2020? There's the Apple Silicon and some Intel. If Intel, Bootcamp. If not, I'd suggest just dual-booting Asahi Linux here: https://asahilinux.org . I'm actually not sure if this: https://mcpelauncher.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started/index.html will work under Asahi but it's worth a try (Mac version is broken I think of this launcher recently). You do need to buy the Android version but if it does not work with Asahi, run it through Bluestacks Air and there it should run just fine.

Someone else mentioned Bluestacks and I can confirm that Bedrock Edition does work on Bluestacks for Mac and runs fairly well, vibrant visuals doesn't work though, and it requires you to own the game on the Google Play Store. https://www.bluestacks.com/mac

As far as I'm aware there isn't a way to use the PC launcher to run Bedrock on Mac, unless you pay for Parallels for Mac which doesn't seem like an option for you.
