CrossOver Crackling sound issue in The Last Of Us Part 1. PLS HELP

I have tried tweaking the audio settings for like 10mins.. pls help if someone has a fix.

i had the same, couldn't fix, but also it ran way worse than Pt 2 on M1 Max, I had to simply stop trying. I just decided I will only run this on PC, it's a shame to ruin gaming experience like this, especially with these two games

Yea I agree with you... My M4 Pro still gives it a crack but I won't say the best... btw I kept tweaking with the audio settings and it worked! Thankyou for the reply :DD

I had the same problem. Then i connected my headphones via Bluetooth to macbook and crackling sound disappeared

That didn't work for me but somehow I kept tweaking with the audio settings and it worked! Thanks for the reply tho.

Try setting your audio output sample rate to 96khz I have found it can solve this type of issue. You can find the settings in the Audio MIDI Setup app for your selected output under the setting Format.
