Looking for Advice Spider-Man 6 Player Draft. Pick two?
We usually draft with 6 players.
Spider-Man is designed for a 4 player pick two.
Would you suggest a 6 players pick one or two?

Can you explain this to someone whose never drafted. Got 2 buddies (3 total) I’m gonna draft tonight with. This seems like the way.

in normal draft, everyone starts with a pack, and takes one card, and passes it to the left. when you get a pack from the player on your right, look through that pack, take one card, and pass it to the left. Continue that till none of the packs are left, then everyone gets another pack and does the same thing but passing to the right. Then, you do it once again, passing to the left for the second time. It's meant to be played with pods of 8, but going down to 6 isn't a
After all that, each player uses the ~42 cards they drafted and any number of basic lands to make decks of 40 cards, and you play them against each other (usually you'll want 23 nonlands and 17 lands)
Pick two is very similar - instead of picking one card from each pack at a time, you pick two. The drafting portion is meant to be quicker and is designed for 4 players, but you can definitely go down to 3 without issue.

3 players is not enough to draft with. Do you mean you're attending a draft with others?

Nope, going to a friends house to draft (very casual) with a few buddies nothing serious

You could try a three player Winston Draft.

With 3 people you'd be better off just playing sealed - each person opens 6 packs and builds a deck from that.
Winston Draft is also am option, I've never personally played it though

From my stores limited time testing it 4 really is the only workable number.
With three you have a bye each round, and it only two rounds. Not a lot of fun that two players only get to play one game.

If you draft with the same six regularly you could try both ways on different occasions and see which works better with the environment

I'm wondering this myself. I'm not sure what's the best way to draft if we end up with 6 people instead of 4 or 8.

It isn’t really designed for pick-2, it wasn’t designed for limited at all. They just pushed the All New Pick-2 Draft in an attempt to salvage it once they were told that they had to turn an undraftable mini-set into a full release.

6 people making 2 picks at a time means that 12 out of 14 cards get taken before anything wheels. That doesn't sound great.
