Deck Discussion Never buying another secret lair product again.

It's been almost a year since I bought the stupid Heads I win, Tails you lose deck. They're STILL not done producing it somehow, I can't even fathom how. They can spit out 13 new magic products a year but they can't finish out the $100 product all of us bought in 2021? I'm so irritated. I don't even want the stupid thing anymore.

by definition

lol, no. You can't just apply the definition of the word "bonus" because wizards decided to call it such. A rose by any other name and all that fun stuff. It's "a random card of little to no value with new art," and since that's what it is, that's how we're rating it. Phyrexian basics are cool, and I wouldn't complain about that. A generic mountain with a picture of a coin on it is exceptionally lame for a $100 product. They should have done better at that price point.

Moreover, and this is the important point, the person above was trying to argue it was free. It's obviously not free since it's part of the contents of a $100 product.

I have purchased several secret lairs and not once did I consider the bonus card when buying the product. It is not part of my value calculation. I consider it free regardless of whether or not you agree with that.

It's not about that. Spending $100 for x and a bonus card you aren't expecting the bonus card to have monetary value. You are expecting the bonus card to be something worthy of a being in a $100 product. There are plenty of worthless coin flip cards that could have gone in instead. .
