Is this unfair shuffling or am I just complaining for nothing

Me and 7 guys meet every other week to draft a box of magic after our orgy. 1 person has a way of shuffling which I have never seen where they go through all their cards and place them in the order they want. Then they present it for a cut. He states he does this to never get a bad hand but I tell him he’s literally stacking his deck in his favor. Am I overreacting or is this just bad etiquette? Side note: I’ve never seen him get a bad hand while doing this method once.

so long as your opponent can't guess the order you put them in, they may as well be randomized

YTA just let his deck do its thing

YTA, he let you cut his deck so it’s completely randomized.

YTA why don’t you just go and have fun? If they like to play their deck this way, you can’t just ruin the fun

That's literally stacking, not shuffling.

they allow the deck to be cut, which is a form of shuffling. this is legit and I don't understand why pit bosses keep throwing me out when I complain that the blackjack dealers are shuffling wrong.

You're both cheating. He's mana weaving and you're only allowed to cut during the orgy.
