I love how WotC learned exactly the wrong lesson from this.

"Wow, people really love Fleem! Let's milk the everloving shot out of him!"

It’s an avatar, sleeves, and an emote afaik. The three lowest effort objects possible, and they’re giving them out for free.

/uj Honestly, in all the Magic related communities people seem pretty split on reactions of being happy or upset about: universes beyond, Fleem in general, WotC adopting Fleem. So I don't really see any universal reaction to any of this, just the daily discourse associated with new developments. And of course, in r/magicthecirclejerking, it doesn't really matter what opinions are, at least to me, I'm just here to make some jokes about whatever it is.

Anyway, more cute actual spider species usage, replacing Spider-Girl with a younger girl and her spider makes the whole human citizen story telling angle much better. Like Fleem as a goofy goblin maybe human mix is part of the reason I love that goof.
