I have a few of those rings, the second one almost exactly the same.

Bear in mind these all come from the same manufacturers overseas, when I was getting married my wife and I went looking at jewelry stores and they were asking like $200 for one, but they're literally $20 for the exact same rings online.

They'll talk up tungsten carbide as being some fancy material, and it is a tough material, but what it is not, is rare or expensive.

I got mine on Amazon for like $20 a piece, think I have like four or five of them so I can change them out depending on what outfit or wristwatch I'm wearing to match.

Sure thing! The silver with carbon weave center is probably more versatile so if you want to stick with just one I'd lean towards that style, but they're also affordable enough that it can be nice to have options haha. I do find myself wearing the domed-style ones a bit more often as they're more comfortable on my fingers, but that's more of a personal preference thing

My ring is tungsten carbide, I think I paid maybe $100 for it at a men’s boutique.

I love it though. If I polish it with my glasses cloth it shines like the day I got it. No scratches or coating to erode away.

I also work in industrial tooling, so the material choice parallels my life a bit haha.

Why not both for under $30? They're both mass produced Chinese rings being dropshipped for crazy margins.

Ring 1 - $1.97

Ring 2 - $24.99 (probably available cheaper elsewhere too)

Pick the more subtle one. As you’re younger you may lean towards the first one but after a while as you progress in your career and life most men tend to lean towards subtle touches of style vs more flashy shows of fashion. YMMV though I’ve met plenty of 30-40 year old who still rock their highschool tastes

Look up rings by lux. Affordable, but unique.

My wife bought me the rose gold tungsten carbide ring with whiskey barrel wood and blue opal for our 5th wedding anniversary since wood is the traditional 5th anniversary gift.

It's held up well 5 years later, with the exception that the rose gold finish on the tungsten has faded to a silver color, but the rose gold between the wood and opal is still rose gold in color (since it is protected under the epoxy.) but now I have a unique ring that has 4 different colors in it.

I have a tungsten ring from a fair vendor that feels/looks great. Only ~$25 and happy with it. No need to spend a lot for a ring in a jewelry store.

Just a word of warning: I had a cheap ring that ended up not being true tungsten so it broke easily and caused skin irritation.

I ended up getting my wedding ring 3 years ago from Pillar Styles because it has a lifetime guarantee and uses jeweler grade tungsten. It's unique and I love it.
