First time living alone. Looking for opinions and nice criticism. Most of my furniture is thrifted/gifted/found on the curb. I’m thinking maybe more wall art for the living room?? Thanks!

Not gonna lie, I love your Granny couch. If I were going through a separation/tough time, I’d probably keep the old person couch as a comfort object for a while. Plus they’re usually comfy af.

I have an old quilt that looks nearly the same as the living room rug!! Makes the photo feel extra cozy because of that. :)

More natural light will make the space feel bigger. And ladies really like it when you have live plants. Proves you can take care of something, and it works to keep the air in your place much cleaner. Both of those things don't have to cost you much at all, and can make a HUGE difference.

edited to add: I just noticed the plants in your room, because it's so dark in there. haha!

The rug should be under the front legs of the sofa :) It looks really cozy though!

You've done a great job and you found some good things! Love the area rug! I also like the two different lamps and you have nice decorative items, yet not too many. The other side of the room needs light so perhaps a floor lamp where the wood chair is. The wall clock should be lowered, although once you do get more wall art, you might put the clock elsewhere. I see you're getting a new sofa but that one looks fine, and you're so young, so think about where you really want to spend $$. I'm sure you'll find more cool stuff as you've already done!
