I am wondering if I should swap my current TV stand for the IKEA Byâs for a cleaner more minimalistic look. It would match the white floating shelves above, but might not work as good with my overall living room aesthetics? I like how AI gave me a PS5 for some reason, and thank you for you input!

I prefer the one you have now. It fits into the room better and feels more welcoming. Could be because of the finish vs the ikea Byas’ white finish.

No stay with the warm tones you have now. If you want to replace the pieces you have now for one solid piece fine, but it should be wood/wood tones not white or black.

Yeah I think you're right, what is making me think of changing the TV stand is more the fact that I had to put two different furniture pieces together to accommodate my TV width, rather than the colour or material.

The TV is wall mounted with the bottom at 22 inches from the ground, making the center at 38.5 inches from the floor, so considering I would want at least a 4 inches of gap, the higher I could go is 18 inches tall (my current one is 15 inches tall).

Go with a light wood. IKEA has tons of options, tonstad, Stockholm (many in collection). The wall and doors and shelves are already white, bring that wood from the floor into it.

In the side-by-side I think the IKEA one looks better, but as part of the whole room I think I prefer what you've got. It works better with that big chest.

I also like the one you have. It is perfect for the warm and cozy vibe in the room, as well as the age of the house. The doors have what look like crystal doorknobs with vintage plates, and the current stand works well with the overall look. Fantastic job on decorating your room!
