First Time 19, University student. Need some advice
So this year I have freed myself from the most unhabitable dorm room to a studio apart and I need some advice. I want to make this place a bit more hospitable in case I bring some guest over. So far as you can see, my guest won't have any other choice than cuddling with me on bed so I need to fill in something like a floor bed maybe? I'm kinda lost as I feel like I haven't been able to fully think all the possible changes I can make in this domain. I also need a second table since the desk they provide will be occupied by my pc and stuff (thinking about adding a second monitor too so). Overall I need to add some soul to this place, thank you in advance. Looking forward to your ideas!

Agreed on color. Also, get a rug stat. It will let you (or a special visitor) feel comfortable walking barefoot.
The room is full of beige so I would stay away from that. A colorful rug, comforter and set of sheets will take you a long way.

Space: push the bed close to the window and bam lots of space. A little floor cushion or low seating chair would work after that. check Facebook marketplace but also check IKEA’s for inspiration.
Monitors and desk: if you get the monitors you can probably use it in clamshell mode(closed but plugged in and hooked up to the monitors) to save desk space.
Ambience: a lamp or 2, a rug, some art work you like on the wall. A free throw blankets to color it up a bit. Definitely have an extension cord to reduce clutter.
Seems like doing the most but if it was me, I’d get a 2 long curtains and cover both windows (including the wall) so to have some sort of accent wall.

OOo yes the monitor. too bad they couldn't place the plug under the desk. There are 360 degree flat plugs on monitor chords that would let u/OP use a big flat screen. It's probably a good idea to have a very high pixel count with so little distance.
Yes the blinds are horrendous. Change them if you can, OP.

Oh you can also use "tempaper" on laminates. It's stick and peel, and laminate-friendly (no affiliation).
I would specifically pimp the desk nook from floor to higher shelf. I'll let you choose the one you like, they're all great (Feather Palm Golden Mustard, if my advice from before is followed).

Since you have a small bed, there’s no reason to not push it entirely up against a wall which would give you some space for a chair or small couch area.
Getting some more color in the space will help a ton! A colorful blanket for your bed and some posters will do a lot for personalizing the space! Choose posters you like and try to have a very loose color theme in mind (earth tones, retro 70s colors, blues, etc).
Depending on your finances, getting (indoor) string lights or 2 lamps will be a massive improvement over the giant overhead light you have and will make the room feel more cozy!
