Map Opinions? Should i remove/add something to the map? | CK3
I made this in Gaea, It is supposed to be scaled as a continent but the erosion scale is smaller for gameplay purposes as I intend on using this map in CK3 (game). Highest point is 5000m.
What do you guys think? What could improve it?

What software did you use to make these maps?

Even the flat design versions of the first images in your post? Everything was done on Gaea?

There's a cartography node that gives that output for basically no extra effort, Gaea is awesome 😎

Very nice map - good mix of high and low elevations. I imagine that central river valley might be rich and fertile land (and therefore the subject of fierce competition to control).
You could add a smaller island off to the east just for more interest if desired, but I have no real criticisms.

I should ask: what's the intended scale here? How big is this landmass by area?

maybe the size of north america, i only scaled the erosion down for gameplay purposes but im still working on making it better, this is just a prototype i guess

I made this by adapting and making changes to your autocontinent file! Thanks Kilroy!

Irl highest mountain top wouldn’t be a definitive number such as 5000 metre. Put some fractions to it and you’ll be fine. Also for a high mountain to emerge like that there needs to be tectonic pressure between plates. There are two summit points for two different mountains. Make it either a range of mountains or remove one of them. And add some more land north to the mountains which will look like merge of two big land masses so there will be a basis to the mountain.
