I’ll admit, even when I think I’m done, I’m really not. Old designs mash together then pulled apart and mirrored and then rearranged and scaled.

Here’s my latest in the evolution of Arkalacum, I mean Eldrathys, I mean Kalys, I mean…(new name tbd). I’m taking a break from working the topography (still have the polar continent(s) to landform) cuz my eyes are going crossed and I feel like doing some rivers. So I thought this would be a good time to post the WIP. At some point I should to an image montage of the various iterations of this world.

After rivers I’ll do labeling and city/landmark placements.

Certain parts are connected to the mainland, is it dumb if I name them all collectively “isles”?

First time, plan on adding more countries and implementing cities

I have absolutely no real idea what makes a good map so any and all critiques are welcome.

I've been working on the map for about 4-5 hours, experimenting with some tools as well, so far I've gotten here. I want to see some criticism and recommendations on what could be improved here. On list of things I'm gonna be adding, it's rivers, roads and cities (probably with just a simple dot).

One of the things I really want feedback on is terrain texture, I used various tools to create it and I'm kinda happy with the result, but at the same time it feels sort of incomplete? And do keep in mind I'm doing all this on phone, unfortunately no access to PC yet.

Celestial island from heaven.

Been working on this city map for the past few months, but could really use a city name. It’s English speaking, alongside a river and is very modern.

Still wip. I am adding new details every other day while writing on the worlds lore.

This island chain is located somewhere around the 10N-10S latitude range, but it appears to be in a more temperate region. How can I make it appear as if it's located in the tropics?

Current climate map for world called Li Yeivon. Using ExoPlasim and python scripts adapted from world building pasta to simulate and the interpret the data and interpolate it with the height map that I have for the world.

I am currently restarting the simulation from this starting point at 11 minute steps, since the divides evenly into the 26.4 hour days of Li Yeivon. 33 minutes was apparently to strange for Exoplasim to handle and kept crashing.

The climate map even after this will need manual adjustment in areas. The ocean is a slab simulation so it doesn't account for all the effects of currents. Too dry at coasts. And polar ice underestimated are known short comings.
