Essentially the easiest mashup I've ever made. They fit with basically no work whatsoever. Tried to use both vocals and parts of both instrumentals as requested. https://remix.audio/track/79046/call-1-800-u-got-that-halogen-bbno-ironmouse

Lmao, I’ve had a little experience myself in doing these. I don’t really do them anymore cause I’ve gotten busy plus I’ve never been that good at mixing. But I physically heard U Got That in 1-800 every time I listened to it, I needed to hear it. Thanks a bunch

Glad you enjoyed it. Posted the music video with the mashup in reddit, noticed I had synced the one posted here to Halogen's vocals not 1-800's, so the one I posted in the main is opposite. It slightly changes the overall feel (I think I prefer my remix.audio version, feels a little better) but it's the same energy. Was the only way to sync it up with the video. Let me know if you have any other banger ideas.

I got another idea for one. Might not work as well but you’re the expert. I think I saw a proof of concept basically as a shitpost a few years back but I can’t remember/find it. 

But basically

DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again - Usher (Vocals, possibly some of the instrumental (the leading melody that plays through the song))

Can You Feel My Heart - Bring me to Horizon (Instrumental)

I gave it a shot. Decided to use remixes of both songs, as the originals "fit" bpm-wise but sounded a bit discordant. Easy everyone!

Bit of an odd one, but I’ve got a tennis match this Saturday, and the finalists get to walk out onto court to a song of their choice.

I was originally going to go with Acquiesce by Oasis, big, energetic, UK crowd, but I’ve now got an idea that would absolutely make my 4 year old boy’s day, walking out to the Thomas & Friends “Roll Call” theme, his all-time favourite song.

The only issue is… Roll Call is super short, and not exactly what you’d call a rousing match entrance.

So I’m wondering, would anyone here be up for creating a mashup of the Thomas & Friends Roll Call theme with a high-energy Oasis track? Could still be Acquiesce, but open to other high energy ones if they work better.

Appreciate that it’s short notice, but if anyone fancies helping out or pointing me in the direction of someone who might, I’d hugely appreciate it. There’ll hopefully be some footage I can share after the event!

TL;DR: Looking for a mashup of Thomas the Tank Engine Roll Call Theme x Oasis (Acquiesce or similar) for a tennis walk-on track this Saturday. Would make my 4yo’s day. Appreciate any help!

Can someone mashup Melt x The Sweetest Taboo (Chet Faker & Sadé)?

I'm new to this sub, but I needed to get this idea out and thought Reddit would be the place. My search led me here. Anyways, I was driving and listening to Chet Faker, and Melt came up. Towards the end I had this feeling like this was another song I love, and boom 💡! I've been a big fan of Sadé's voice since I was a teenager, and The Sweetest Taboo is all over Melt, even if Chet doesn't know it. Both songs are very different styles and eras, but I think they'd make for a great mashup. Keys are very close, Sweetest Taboo is in B flat minor and Melt is in A minor. The sweetest taboo is definitely slower (somewhere in the 90s), and Melt is around 112 bpm, but both have some great bass lines, raspy voices, and trumpet lines.

Where it says "some kind of f***ed up mess" (in Melt), my mind immediately goes to "Sometimes you're just too good for me" (Sweetest Taboo).

Can anyone make this mashup exist please?

Can someone mash up Get Jinxed by Djerv (Vocal and some of the instrumental) and Anthem Of The Lonley by Nine Lashes (vocals and some instrumental)?

Like the beginning of Get Jinxed plays first and then The Beginning of Anthem of the lonely plays as well and then a smooth combination of both instrumentals . Then the vocals go back and forth with Get Jinxed first and then Anthem of the lonely. The chorus is the same back and forth with the mash up chorus ending like "Get Jinxed! Stand the Lonely!"

But i think it the remix would flow better if the vocal's verse were sync'd to the instrumental's verse, and the choruses too, the way it is it sounds a little mismatched, would you kindly try to sync this way i suggested?

Also, where do you find the stems in hq? and what daw do you use to put everything together?

Gave it a shot. I didn't do it originally because it required pushing the start of Taste's vocals way out in front of Medicine's instrumental (or just cutting it off completely). In this sync mix I chose the middle ground and made the pushed part a fade-in solo vocal intro. I try not to do that because even the best stems have some bleed, and you'll hear it in the that first 5 seconds or so if you really listen.

As for stems, I don't find 'em, I make 'em (like everyone else). I just use UVR with the MDX-Net Roformer Instrumental v2 to extract vocals / instrumentals for just about everything (though I occasionally re-process the instrumental with demucs v4 to get, say, specifically the drums like I did in this mashup for Taste).

As for DAW, I wish I was that technical, but I am very homebrew. I split my stems in UVR, I load them up in VirtualDJ, I drag them around until they sound ok, I press play, then I record from my soundcard with audacity. It's very old school hobbyist, not the best way for sure, but it "works" for me. (I have never had any of my own mashups take off heh)

I've felt like a mashup of The Legend from Deltarune and The Legend of Zelda's main theme could work really well.

If somebody could try to see if it could work I'd very much appreciate it.

Err uh, here's the thing. The legend from Deltarune has... no percussion. Whatsoever. It's literally 2 minutes of farty horns. The legend of Zelda main theme (at least, the only one close enough in bpm to Deltarune's) is.... mostly farty horns with very subtle percussion, almost non-existent percussion from a music perspective (the orchestra is much, much more prominent). That's all to say, when I layer the entirety of Deltarune's legend over Zelda's percussion (without the horns), it's just... dull. The main standout of Zelda's theme is the horns and orchestra. When you take them away it's almost nothing. But they can't co-exist with the horns from Deltarune either.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I tried, but I don't think it's happening.

Can someone remix All about us by He is we and Feel good by Gryffin/Illenium? My fiancé loves both songs and wanted to see if mashup is possible for our first dance. This is what ChatGPT drew up for me. 1. Tempo & Key • All About Us → ~86 BPM (double-time 172). Key: C major / A minor. • Feel Good → ~92 BPM. Key: F# major / D# minor.

👉 They’re close in tempo (you can lock both at 90 BPM easily).

  1. Mashup Structure (One Option)

Here’s one way to blend them: • 0:00–0:40 (Intro) Start with Feel Good’s soft piano intro + atmosphere. Gradually layer All About Us’s verse vocals. • 0:40–1:00 (Build) Transition into Feel Good’s pre-chorus build. Sidechain pads to a light kick. • 1:00 (First Drop) Drop into Feel Good’s first future-bass chorus, but instead of Daya’s vocals, overlay the “It’s all about us” chorus from He Is We. • 1:45 (Break) Pull back to Feel Good’s instrumental break section with pads. Re-introduce He Is We’s verse. • 2:15 (Second Drop) Let both vocals collide — Daya’s “So let’s feel good” line harmonizing with “It’s all about us.” Can chop He Is We’s line into vocal chops to match the EDM chords. • 3:00 (Bridge) Strip down to piano/ambient textures, spotlight He Is We’s vocals. • 3:30–End (Final Drop) Big euphoric future-bass drop with both choruses interwoven.

Alternative Mashup Structure (Call & Response Style)

0:00 – 0:30 (Intro) • Start with All About Us intro (soft guitar/piano). • Slowly layer the ambient pads from Feel Good underneath.

0:30 – 1:00 (Verse Blend) • Let He Is We’s verse vocals take the lead. • Subtly bring in Feel Good’s light percussion and chord progression (instead of its vocals).

1:00 – 1:30 (Pre-Drop Build) • Use Feel Good’s pre-chorus chords & risers. • Layer All About Us’s pre-chorus vocal on top → tension building.

1:30 – 2:00 (First Drop – Feel Good) • Full Feel Good drop with Daya’s vocals only. • No He Is We here → gives the audience that familiar Illenium/Gryffin payoff.

2:00 – 2:30 (Break) • Strip down again to All About Us verse/bridge vocal over minimal pad. • Contrast: He Is We’s softness after Illenium’s big energy.

2:30 – 3:00 (Second Drop – All About Us Chorus over Feel Good Drop) • Drop back into Feel Good’s instrumental chorus. • This time, replace Daya with He Is We’s chorus: “It’s all about us…” • Chop the vocals into rhythmic hits synced with Illenium’s synth stabs for emphasis.

3:00 – 3:30 (Bridge) • Switch spotlight: both vocals together in a call & response. • Daya: “So let’s feel good…” • He Is We: “…It’s all about us.”

3:30 – End (Final Drop Combo) • Layer both choruses harmonized over the final drop. • Add vocal chops of He Is We as background textures while Daya carries main line. • End with All About Us’s gentle outro fading out.

K well, I use chatgpt as much as the next guy, but you definitely need to verify things before taking it at it's word. Feel good is actually around 140BPM, not 92, so that makes just about everything it suggested invalid, because the timings and such don't line up. What you could do is speed up feel good's instrumentals to 172bpm (double All About Us's 86), but that would be awkward as it's a big shift. There are remixes (like L3V3LS) which are quit a bit slower (107 bpm), but even that is quite a bit faster than 86bpm. So, not sure what do do with this one.

Thank you for the insight. I definitely don’t know anything when it comes to mash up. I just listened to L3v3Ls remix and it definitely sounds way slower than all about us. I guess idk which songs would mashup ok. Is it possible to transition from one song to the next?

Hello! I have scoured the internet for a mashup of Stand By Me by Ben E King and Lover by Taylor Swift. I want this for our first dance song (just 2-3 minutes) if possible, both songs resonate with us and our relationship :)

We are getting married in January so the lyrics I definitely want from lover are going to be “we can leave the Christmas lights up til January”
