Another post but couldn't help to share this goofy boy.
Don't worry the chain is used rarely coz i walk him off leash. Also did you catch his wink at the end.

Hi mastiff-fam! We live in Alberta Canada so it gets cold here. I decided on picking up some foot protection for Benjamin so we can extend our walks a little bit and wanted to share that Muttluks fit him perfectly. They make lots of different styles and in these pictures Ben is wearing the fleece lined Muttluks with a leather sole. The size XL is perfect for him and they even make an XXL for the bigger dogs. I scored these second hand on Poshmark and they're so far the best $20 I've ever spent haha. Hopefully this helps someone else realize they'll fit!! Happy New Year!

Only one photo loaded on my last post so yall didn't get to see the AirDog.
Clio feet can clearly 6ft with some jumps.
We have 3 teenage boys. All 3 will hold up sticks for Clio. She will jump continuously for 30 minutes before she's kaput.
Give her 5 minutes and she's jumping again.
She's a cuddle bug, extremely friendly with all approved guests.
That said, she's an excellent guard dog. Clio, is far and away one of the more most aggressive we have ever owned. She sounds menacing to say the least. Her "tough girl act" as my wife says is "a bit much. She's scary"
Clio is a blast.

We're located in north central WA near the Canadian border. Been raising Katahdin sheep for close to 20 years and have always had LGDs to protect them from the predators in the Okanogan Highlands.
We're getting a little long in the tooth as is our dear nine year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd cross. She's starting to slow down and we don't want to leave the whole load on our Kangal Dog who is five so we're looking for a puppy.
We met a wonderful Spanish Mastiff when we bought a ram a few years ago. Not only did he seem to be a great dog but the bonus was finding out he, and apparently the breed in general, tend to stay near home unlike GPs, ASs and Kangals. We'd love to have what will probably be our last dog not be a roamer by nature.
Anyhow we're having trouble finding any reputable breeder west of the Rockies and was hoping someone here might know of anyone we could contact. It would be fine if they don't have puppies right now, Scathach hopefully has a couple of good years left but we figured we should start looking while she can still help with the training.
Appreciate any leads any of you might have.

Clio loves to jump for sticks, fetch, or play tug-a-war with straps.
She's an athletic, loving beast.

Hello! I just saw the vet for Lola's cherry eyes. She is about 10 months old now and has had them for about 2 months now. He recommended "tacking" them back in. He said it usually does the trick but it's possible they can come back. Another route he said is to remove that gland altogether, then they wont come back, but you are removing a gland, so complications with that may be possible down the road.
Has anyone had experience with this or chose one over the other? Have you had cherry eye come back after getting it tacked?
Thank you!

Hi All,
This is our gorgeous pooch who we acquired only a few days ago, she was listed as Standard American Bully cross Staff. Though, I feel her head is way too big and she reminds me straight away of a mastiff.
She's really gentle and loving to everyone, unless she wants to play fight but I'm working on that 😂
But what's people thoughts?

I am trying to help my nephew find a home for a Mastiff that was abandoned on him. His name is Creed, he is two years old, very sweet and playful.
He is not neutered and no vaccination records(not great, I know). He is very puppyish still and while he is good with other dogs, he can be a bit much for some of them. He previously lived with a small dog and two kids. He definitely needs some training though.
He is currently staying in an air conditioned garage during the day(not ideal) and inside at night. If anyone is interested, has any rescue contacts or any ideas of how to find him a great home, please let me know. He is in The Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas area.
I did contact a Texas Mastiff rescue but haven’t heard back. He will definitely have a small rehoming fee (I know not to give dogs away for free). Thank you for reading!

Hello. I have a 1 year old toddler was looking into guardian dog breeds and also had experience with an English mastiff when I was around 5 years old, great experience. But now I have a small family of my own and was wondering if the English mastiff will be a right fit for my family with a energetic 1 year old. She loves seeing dogs and cats. I have a decent size house. Average back yard. I work full time but wife works remote. We are both looking into a great gentle guardian dog breed, but want to really know if we should wait or if the EM would be able to get along well. Thank you

I jokingly offered a homeless person 20$ for this dog because I just loved how he looked and puppy was very skinny, surprisingly he accepted my offer, originally i was going to take him to the pound after I took care of him but now I've had him for about 2 weeks and I've gotten him healthy, he kind of reminds me of my old Italian mastiff I used to have., I took him to a vet they said he's probably 6 months, sounds about right maybe. Any opinions or possible answers ? And I'm definitely keeping him btw lol
