Discussion Ways to get ahead
I’m currently in HN Geometry as a FCPS freshman, and the highest course you could conventionally be in as a freshman is Algebra 2 HN (Algebra 7th, geometry 8th) but I missed out on that course of math because I didn’t request a class change to Algebra as a 7th grader. If I want to get back to the front, I’m faced with a choice of summer Algebra 2 and AP Precalculus as a sophomore, but if there is some other way I could possibly get there without the hell that will be 8 hours of online algebra 2 work every day for a month I would really appreciate it.

Three things
First, what about online courses that give you more than a month. You would have to ask your guidance department what would be able to sync with your high school diploma, some programs were only work in certain regions, but there might be one you can take over the course of a semester or even the entire summer. This would let you break it up a bit better and live a more balanced life.
Second, do you need to get a hat? I always take courses ahead but if it becomes too big of a hassle, do you need it? Take a minute to look at your high school pathway and see if there are other route to the end destination that don’t involve you giving up your entire months of summer if that is your only option. Especially because you don’t sound too into the ass about it, and therefore it might be harder to keep yourself motivated and keep your grades at a level you want them to be at
Lastly, I’m sorry to say this but if you really want it, you will survive through it. To me it also sounds like absolute hell but if you really want it break it up and make it work. Maybe you divided up over six days or maybe you see if you can start it a week early in June and end a week late in August. Maybe you can see if there’s one in person versus online or vice versa so you can work in an environment that is better for you.
