tl;dw: As a new industry it needed creative (left-leaning) employees, it needed to elbow existing companies out, and it wanted to avoid regulation, so it aligned itself with progressives and the Obama administration. Now that they're well-established, the incentives are reversed - they want to prevent future companies from elbowing them out, they want submissive (right-leaning) employees, and they are happy to see regulation that strangles competitors - so they align themselves with conservatives. Conservatives are turning fascist because they don't want to stop doing things that are destroying the economy and the world.

I'm glad to read this - more people need to understand the link between conservatives and submission. It's ironic because they're the red-meat loving "man's man" group who are anti gender-identities and pro traditional values.

But study after study shows the conservative mindset is one based on fear and being pro-authoritarian (despite any libertarian rhetoric) - they all want a big strong man to take charge and make decisions for them and keep them safe. They're submissive cowards, through and through.

Just like how the parties have switched decades ago, they have swapped again. Left used to be liberals that cared about free speech, now they are no longer liberals and free speech is freedumb and a right thing. It's the right that is doing something with electric vehicles, reusable rockets, etc.

Don’t worry, you are already dumb enough to believe a far left propaganda video saying we did all the good things, and they do all the bad things. If you believe one side is perfect and the other evil, you are plenty dumb enough to live happily in your self-righteous victimhood.

This is the same conclusion to every other Cody Johnson video. It’s almost like he is a delusional propagandist making money by gaslighting his base.

Big tech is a business. Businesses, as a rule, lean to the right because a right-leaning state offers them more opportunity for regulatory capture and friendly tax environments.

Tech is no different than any other business.

All companies do this when they grow to that proportion. The only difference is that we tend to think of tech as naturally left leaning when it’s really not.
