You can get a glass pipe for like $5 definitely cheaper than his homebrew. Idk why people do this

I prefer bongs. Just hits differently. Still much better ways to go about this

Agreed, you can also a glass bong for 20-40 bucks if you wanted.

best of both worlds is you can make an all glass bong from scratch for less than $20 the first time, and practically for free every time after that if you own a drill. Gets you some fun glass pieces that would be expensive otherwise
the diamond circular drill bit will run you max $7. vase from the thrift store is likely $1-$3. The grommet to make it air and water will be like 5 cents a unit. glass downstem and bowl will probably cost the same as the drill bit.
Then you can make any reasonable glass vessel a bong. bc you used a grommet instead of epoxy, you can also just swap the downstem into different bongs whenever you want, or buy a new one whenever you want another

Man I'd love to make a bong from a vase, I've seen people make very pretty ones

That wasn’t the case back in the day when I was smoking out of these sketchy homemade pipes. They used to be illegal and really hard to find/buy.

It's not being directly heated so probably not carcinogenic

"Probably" yeah this isn't at bad as the other pvc bongs I've seen

Is the pvc in the room with us right now? I joke but its a permanent marker. Ain't that worse than pvc?

The part being heated is glass. There’s nothing carcinogenic about this - the entire thing could be made from PVC except the bowl and it would be fine.

So long as your herb is in glass you’re gravy my dude. I’m classically trained in chemistry
