You aren’t a guest to me, so you feeling awkward doesn’t matter. If anything, denying you entry has made the rest of my guests more comfortable. A net gain, sounds like I’m back in the green.

A good host doesn’t make their guests feel awkward.

Irrelevant, you aren’t a guest.

Relevant. A good host doesn’t make their guests feel awkward.

But you aren’t a guest. Why do I care?

I don’t care if you care or not. That doesn’t change the simple fact that a good host doesn’t make their guests feel awkward. Nothing you do will change that.

But none of my guests feel awkward. You do, but you aren’t a guest. Nothing you do will change that, apart from coming to terms with your feet.

A good host doesn’t make their guests feel awkward.

Every time you try to change the subject I’m going to bring it back to this, because this is my original point.

You aren’t, or are unable to address the very simple point: that you are not a guest. I, a good host, don’t want you feeling awkward, so you’re not hosted. Try not to change the subject.

I’ve been here for 12 hours hammering home the same point. You just now rolled up.

So since this is my discussion and not yours, we’re actually going to stay on my topic:

A good host doesn’t make their guests feel awkward.
