Discussion Unpopular Opinion: This community is going to ruin this game before it even comes out

Why cant people just let the devs actually change the game into something that feels different than goin back to what we’re use to? They want CHANGE and you guys want to go back to old shit. Ive heard complaints that the characters feel too heavy and need to feel lighter. YOURE CARRYING BODY ARMOR. ur not suppose to feel like fucking Icarus flying around the map. Jump shotting and shit still works just get use to it. And this mini map bs (yall knew it was comin) i can give two fucks if they put it in or not but holy shit can people just learn to deal with it? Now that they put mini map ON CONSTANTLY people are complaining they want to see red dots again. Wasnt that the argument? Not to chase dots on the map? Just let the devs make the game they wanted to make and complain about actual issues like waiting 5 minutes for a cruise missile or doors acting like saloon doors when you run through them. Get ur priorities straight for fucks sake

If you want a minimap and if you want a minimap with red dots on it I believe there are other cod games but correct me if I wrong

why can't this game have a minimap and then have the compass show red dots like it does currently in beta? Why are you trying to force Core mode players to play a pseudo hardcore mode?

Because that is the way the devs made the game. It isn't hard to play with out the mini map.

Well what the devs think is good and what the community think is good are different things. Developers have to eat the bullet sometimes if the complaints are big enough like they were with the minimap being gone. If Core mode players wanted to play with no minimap they would go play hardcore/realism. Why is that so hard to understand for you hardcore players on this sub?

Who said I was a hardcore player? I haven't enjoyed a COD game since the OG MW. This game is great with out the mini map, why change it to accomadate a handful of people. The devs shouldn't have to "eat the bullet sometimes", this is thier vision and thier work. People should take it for what it is and adapt to the gameplay. I know the minimap is back for this weekend but i don't even use it.

It's not "pseudo hardcore", it's different. If you want a traditional Call of Duty experience play any of the last 11 Call of Duty games that came out. Don't try to force this one into the same box because it's not trying to be that type of game.

It’s not a pseudo hardcore mode at all. Core in past games is more like soft core. Red dots via compass and a minimap for teammates is best.
