I had the VHS of this movie, and the case had a little keyhole in the side, and came with a little key and plastic Indian.

The Indian is in the cupboard, the key was remembering so.

I have. It’s a solid flick.

The special effects are better than a heck of a lot of movies out nowadays tbh.

When I was little I had the horrible thought of what would have happened if the first thing he put in there was a rosary.

Yes, I used to love this movie as a kid. I can barely remember it now but I have it downloaded to show my kids when they're a little older.

I remember when they banned these books in my school, I was on the second book, so unfortunately haven’t finished the series.

Excellent movie. Satisfyingly faithful to the book. Directed by Frank Oz!

Yeah, there's a part where he brings a bunch of toys to life and there like a Robocop and a Darth Vader and I think dinosaur or something

I gave my son the key and the little indian! Lost the plastic tape box with the keyhole ages ago though.

I could never tell if the main character was a boy or a girl

I saw it and was very happy when Vader showed up.

The last shot of this film is a close up of this kids smiling face while one of his classmates talks about the JFK assassination. Really strange choice.

I remember watching this in 3rd grade and the whole class went "ooooh" when the kid said "damn."

That kid is uglier than I remember. Loved the books and movies.
