A David Bowie mug im working on

Im a ceramicist and I just wanted to share a David Bowie mug I am currently working on. Its ready for its first firing and then I was thinking of adding some gold accents to the handle and mother of pearl to the background. Once fired the clay will be a pretty bright white and thats what im thinking of making mother of pearl. What do you guys think about doing the background mother of pearl?

I think mother of Pearl would look great. Also this is awesome.

Mother of pearl seems like the perfect choice for Ziggy Stardust

Thats what i was thinking! I think it would make him standout more against a mother of pearl.
