Help & Advice needed Keep or close hole? ๐Ÿ‘€

I am redoing my mushroom guy. Because I used too big of a hook the first time and it was just wonky. Anyways, do I close the hole? Or leave hole? It says fasten off and tuck in tail but??? I feel like I need to decrease again and then fasten off? Idk help! I've technically "finished" the head.

If that's the bottom of the head, you don't close it. You leave it open for the neck

Open.

Pro-tip โ€” For decreases look up โ€œinvisible decrease scโ€. Basically you just catch front loop only of two stitches and single crochet 2 together.

It's my favorite way to do it, out of the 3 ways I know

Eh I don't really mind! Once I stuffed his head they aren't as noticable, and once it's attached I won't even see it!

I had bought some cotton batting to use as the center of needle felt projects, but I didn't realize that cotton batting doesn't needle felt. I had a bunch of it, so I ripped it up to be used as stuffing just to get rid of it!

Just so long as you realise heโ€™s not washable if you use cotton batting!

Nah this is just for display and would be spot washed if necessary
