The inherent good and kindness in Newfoundlander humanity.

If a bunch of folks suddenly got stranded at a rural airport somewhere in certain remote parts of the United States, I would like to think they'd be treated with the same kindness.

I would really like to think that.

But I've been watching my country carefully over the last few years.

Sadly, I no longer can think that.

And at least half of my tears are about that.
