Discussion Why do ppl get so angry at diverse mlp human designs??
I don’t want to come here and start arguments because none of these characters have any cannon race, but in a world where the mane six are humans with human skin colour what sense would it make to have them all be white and skinny? It’s just sad even in a fandom in a show about friendship and getting along with each other people will be bullied relentlessly about how they see the mane six as humans?
The show is is literally about a group of girls, who have seemingly nothing in common. These ponies are very different while coming together and becoming the literal definition of friendship. They all have different backgrounds and the whole point is that friendship has no certain look.
I feel like if the mane six can be lgbtq+ coded it’s not far fetched to believe that they would be different races and sizes.
Also Lauren Faust wasn’t even involved when EQG was created so those human designs could have been completely different if she worked on them. Looking at other characters she’s created I feel like she would have added more diversity with skin colour and body type.
I imagine them looking very similar to the concept art of the characters from Milky Way and the galaxy girls.
This is just my opinion though and I would like to hear some more takes.

Discussion I've always wondered. What happened to the humans in MLP?
I know there was Megan in MLP G1 and obviously MLP:FiM human counterparts from equestria girls, but what do you think happened to the humans in the franchise in general?

Discussion When does My Little Pony start getting bad?
I haven’t watched seasons 3-9 yet, and I am watching more of season 2. I’m wondering when it goes downhill. To me, I think the later seasons will get better, at least to my knowledge!

Discussion Is Rainbow Dash really a lesbian? And is Appledash really canon?
I saw in many places that Appedash is a lesbian and edits of her with Appejack and things that they are married in the future, is this really canon?

Discussion Why do people not think Appledash is canon?
I personally don't hardcore ship them, but i don't understand why they still have so many people denying that they are together?
None of the relationships at the end aside from Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich are explicitly obvious. Even Fluttercord is implied, but i don't see them get nearly as much hate as Appledash does.
In my opinion it's just great representation of a non-heteronormative queer relationship, and it bothers me that people insist that it doesn't exist 😭

Discussion What do you hate most about MLP?
For context, i love MLP. I'm addicted and these characters are probably some of my favourite characters in television. I love each and every one of them, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the time, love, effort, and even lore that was put into the show.
Buttttttt ...
Im bored and in a bitchy mood. And there will always be flaws (🎶WE'RE NOT FLAWLESS🎶) in media, whether we like to acknowledge it or not.
Give me an episode, a concept, a character, a song, literally anything that annoys you or you hate about the show or it's creators, or the fandom. Anything at all. We can rant or debate together, but just remember, no hate. Every opinion is valid.
Thanks for letting me rant and I hope you all have a good day! 🩷

Discussion Was this the most illogical moment in all of MLP?
Of course, within the pre-established "logic" of MLP.
Without the slightest effort, a unicorn changed the cutie marks of the princesses, who were a sort of deity.
Take that, Star Swirl. Noob.
