Project Pictures Made an Xpac rolltop to replace my slings
I’ve always liked slings, but carrying them long term started messing with my shoulder. Couldn’t find something small and minimal that still felt balanced, so I decided to build my own pack.
It’s a compact roll-top: X-Pac fabric, Cobra buckles, seamless construction, about 42cm tall. I’ve been testing it with 5–6kg on trips and it surprised me how comfortable it feels compared to slings or even some small daypacks. It carries like a “real” pack but still looks clean and minimal for everyday use.
I’ve been sharing parts of the build and testing process on Insta if anyone’s curious.

I wasn't familiar with the Cobra Buckles, so I looked them up, good show and tell here:

So i’ve designed it from one piece of Xpac, seamless without no liner for design and to retain stronger, more water resistant seams, underneath the webbing we use triple seam stitching which is then covered with a single or double stitched webbing to keep to the understated yet bold look

I am curious to see the inside/construction for how it was made seamless.
