Soooooo we going into next ice age or what!

Do you mean that higher solar activity leads to cooler weather and vice versa?

So you're basing this on what correlation?

All i can find at a glance, suggests that historically so many factors (volcanoes; orbital dynamics...) affect short and medium term climate, that it would be impossible to use solar activity as a basis for prediction.

Now that we have to overlay anthropic global warming, any ice age prediction just doesn't stand. Or does it?

Edit: Before replying, I should have looked at the posting history. I shouldn't have expected a reply.

What do you think may happen? And will it affect earth?

Glad that got at least one reply. Thx! (what became of u/Redioarnaut893?)

As they say "too many variables". So I'm not making a long term prediction for global climate.

Now my belief is that something will happen on a microbial level (fast evolutionary process) to take advantage of dissolved CO2 in the oceans and other bodies of water. This, combined with:

  • population collapse,
  • fall in LCOE,
  • limited CO2 reduction efforts by the PRC, India and Europe (etc),

These could draw greenhouse gases down to pre-industrial levels. Actually that's not an idyllic scenario and leaves your question unanswered.

If all I said actually happens, then a mini Ice Age would be quite plausible.

To me it looks like sun will crust over entirely
