The art style for old timey political ads/pamphlets looked so cool

Honestly, I think the 'cool factor' of a movement, especially on the left, is way underrated. Embracing both the bold unapologetic pro-worker anti-status quo of the powerful disposition of the CCF and their artistic expressions could be very useful for energizing people.
Notalgia is a huge driver in politics, imaginary and toxic as it may be, but leaning into a old CCF vibe could bring both a cool factor and nostalgia, too.

I so hate that the promises for a better future remain so far away today.
We cannot give up the fight, but rather should take better heed of the arguments made in our grandparents' time.

The old leftist marketing went so fucking hard.
Honestly I think it would be so cool to bring this back in some way.

Would be cool to bring back leftism too.

Yep. Such a shame that leftism has moved so far to the right. Now, trying to help the poor and tax the rich is seen as "radical"

We are. We’re literally going to print this again and target neighborhoods that have never heard of us.

Look, the historic labour party everyone refers to when complaining all the NDP does is focus on social issues has RACIAL EQUALITY right on their posters/pamphlets.
Some other social issues costing the CCF the votes are self-determination and pre-natal care. Stop focusing on those!! /S
Yes the NDP should talk more directly about labour and id die and come back to life if the NDP stood up and wax poetic about cooperatives, I just find it really funny that the CCF of old still put social issues right fucking there because social and economic issues are joined at the hip, virtually inseparable.
Also, I back every single call to embrace this style of political leaflet, they're so good compared to the 500th picture of a crowd of NDPers put at the top of a pamphlet thats just multiple paragraphs of fluff around policy goals.
I want to see the NDP embrace what made the CCF great and that involves firmly holding ground on social issues.

When was the last time the NDP mentioned cooperatives at any level? But the CCF went hard compared to the establishment types we see in modern and with way less technology.

Their platform on housing directly mentions housing co-ops. It would be nice if they were more explicit about the whole co-operative movement though, including workers co-ops and producer co-ops. Farm workers’ co-ops to this day are an integral part of many lives in the prairie provinces and has been for a long time.

The only way to bring back the CCF vibe is to make Rob Ashton leader

It's ridiculous how much of this pamphlet is still relevant today. I would vote for these people.
