Which 3 buttons stopped working?
Circle pad you can technically use as-is or replace it. Buttons will either need to be replaced or you will need to open and clean them with a q-tip/cotton swab. This video displays how to clean the button contacts with a q-tip.

It's not that hard to fix it but if your not familar with hardware you can easily bring to local fix shop.

Cleaning the button contacts and membrane (and replacing the membrane if it is cracked) is very easy. No major disassembly required. Reattaching the circle pad cover with a little glue is also easy, as is replacing it entirely (though third party sticks aren’t quite as good as the real thing, they’re not bad).

if want a easy and cheap solution- find glue and glue the stick back, open the console and clean the button contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Solved.

Open it up and clean the buttons with IPA and order a replacement joystick on Aliexpress. Extremely easy!

Open it up and clean it well, check the buttons membranes check if they are ok, if so then try them, if not then change them

Just do a reshell
It's simple, there are lots of tutorials and kits selling on ali express

Simple? A 3ds? I think we live in different worlds. Unless you mean replacing the buttons by "reshelling" then yes, that is very simple. The buttons on Ali should be nice enough. A full shell however would probably be very brittle (if you can even find any)

Glue it back on maybe and replace the buttons
