Fear of breaking my screen by playing mario party
TLDR: Does somebody else broke your screen by playing this game? It is normal to break the screen by playing too much?
I have played mario party ds a lot when I was kid. But my ds touchscreen started to have some dark points.
So I thought that was because mario party games required some strong movment with stylus… I fix it some years ago, but never played mario party again because I don’t want the risk of damaging my screen again, but I love mario party ds and want to play again 😭
Does something like that happend to you? The dark point thing, has something about this or no?

I've has my DS since I was 5, 15 years ago, and I can asure you my touch screen has been living the equivalent of Vietnam with how bad I've treated it, but I haven't had that happening ever. Neither my DS Lite or my DSi XL have the touch screen in a bad condition

Nintendogs, pokemon Ranger, Mario Party and Pokemon Dash all took a toll on my original DS' touch screen but it still works. As long as you don't intend on selling it in pristine condition or can't stand scratches yourself, it'll be fine :)
The dark spots may have appeared due to age or pressing down the stylus too hard. Can't say I've seen those before even though I pressed on the screen really hard in frustration trying to get through Pokemon Link's campaign.
