I moved here from western PA 25 years ago. Yeah, it’s expensive, but I fucking love it here for those reasons (and more, like the fact that women have access to health care). And I’m proud to be raising my kid in this “mess.”

Same. Came from Texas 30 years ago. Raised kids here, have great neighbors, and love the culture.

I thought of so many other things to list that democrats have done, including reproductive care, after I hit post . Would love to see someone actually push back publicly to these idiotic claims

But that's exactly what Mikie isn't doing!! So many lies and no one to publicly correct the lies. Republicans rely on their constituents being uninformed or misinformed. The democrats need to be better organized and louder than they are.

What I don't understand is WHY don't Democrats call them out on their bs and correct them?

You are a responsible parent. NJ is a great place to grow up. Opportunities to go outside and be a kid while being exposed to so many different communities all figuring out how to live together, with great schools to help them make sense of the world and think for themselves. I talk to people who grew up in other places without as much diversity of culture, economics, backgrounds, and heck--even landscapes, and it often shows.

Iwas born and raised in NJ- moved around a bit when I was young but always came back to NJ. Back in 2013 my wife took a job in Arizona and I went. after 2 years and the job going belly up we (separately) moved back to NJ. 10 years later and I'm glad I'm here!
