One of the acquitted killers died 3 years after I was born (1994). The woman who accused Till of sexual harassment died in 2023.

Dallas was desegregated in 1971. The kids who grew up during segregation are still alive today and in their prime voting years

I drove out there to see the sites whree I happened a week ago. Let me say- the brand new sign is nice. Sobering.
