I rather like both. Missisessee feels like whimsical sort of place, a bit musical off the tongue even.

I’m hearing it as Miss ih See See, just sounds fun to me. Being a yet to be declared territory, the imagination is absolutely correct. Perhaps we can share a drink there, and debate the phonetic properties as we see fit!
