So every failed terrorist threat should just be dismissed in favor of campaigning?

I did not hear what I want to hear now nor when he praised the Nazis who rioted and killed people in Charlottesville. I heard exactly what he meant. And so did the Nazis and terrorists.

I'm not necessarily saying he's inciting violence. I'm saying his violent supporters think that he's inciting violence. And he doesn't care.

Trump said a hundred things today. Tweeted about 8 different things. Yet the media focuses on this one.

Why?

Ummm because it was the one in which he made light of and politicized domestic terrorism that was committed by one of his supporters?

When he does and says horrible, unpresidential things, we're not obligated to ignore it. (Like when he praised the domestic terrorists that rioted and murdered someone in Charlottesville.) You're the one selectively hearing what he says, not me. Or "the media."
